For this project, Clémentine de Chabaneix has created a striking archway composed of three mirrors at the entrance of the hotel, framing the passage with an elegant touch of nature. Each mirror is surrounded by bronze foliage, offering a reflective view that both invites and captivates visitors. The three-panel design evokes a sense of depth and fluidity, while the bronze elements bring an organic, garden-like quality to the space. Beyond the entrance, the artist has also crafted a unique treatment for the staircase leading to the first floor, where the steps are enveloped in a design that enhances the connection between the interior and the concept of an indoor garden. This harmonious approach infuses the space with an immersive atmosphere, blending natural beauty with architectural design.

At the corner of Rue de Castiglione and Rue du Mont Thabor, this building, whose façades were designed by the government architects Charles Percier and Pierre Léonard Fontaine, is part of the prestigious Place Vendôme. It is one of the five royal squares of the City of Paris.

Designed by the architecture agency DVVD, in collaboration with Benoit Prédine and Atelier Numéro Deux, the hotel finally came to life after seven years of construction. The most delicate phase was the complete transformation of the building’s structure, while preserving its historical value. In 2019, under the direction of Xavier Vidal, the project evolved significantly with the ambition to create a 5-star hotel and an adjoining luxury boutique.

The originality of the project, initiated by the owner Corinne Evens, lies in the creation of rooms and suites inspired by 27 illustrious women who had an intimate connection with Paris. The decorator Daniel Jibert conceived a unique style dedicated to the personality of each of these women.
